Privacy policy
Circles is provided by Exodia Technologies, Inc. This page describes the current private beta.
Information the app uses
We use your email for signup and sign-in. The dedicated Circles Supabase project stores profiles, neighborhoods, friendship connections, listings, photos, requests, messages, payment usernames, and support reports. Resend delivers verification emails. Legacy saved-item records may remain even though saving controls are currently hidden.
Who can see your content
Listings and requests are friends-only unless you choose friends of friends. Conversations are limited to participants. Seller payment usernames and pickup details become available to accepted buyers. Reports are visible to the reporter and authorized support operators.
Contacts and invitations
Circles uses Apple’s contact picker only for contacts you select. It does not upload your address book. You compose and send invitations in Messages, Mail, or another app you choose. Invitation links include the inviter’s friend code. Shared listing links also include the listing identifier, but do not grant access or publish listing photos and details. This website may save the invitation code or shared listing link in your browser so you can return after installation; you can clear it on the corresponding page.
Payments
Venmo and Cash App handle payments outside Circles under their own terms and privacy policies. Circles stores payment usernames, purchase status, and your report of payment. It does not collect card numbers, bank passwords, or payment-app credentials and does not independently verify transfers.
Notifications and local preferences
If you enable notifications, Circles stores your device token and sends alerts through Apple Push Notification service. Previews contain generic activity descriptions, not private message text or listing details. Read status and pending payment handoffs are saved on the device per account.
Diagnostics and website access
Apple provides development and TestFlight crash diagnostics. The app includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDK. Hosting and backend providers may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure these services.
Deletion and retention
Delete your account in My circle after resolving active accepted or paid purchases. Deletion removes your profile and associated marketplace records from the active database. Provider backups, where present, may retain records until those backups expire. Removing a listing hides it from discovery while keeping purchase conversations. Push delivery records are cleaned up after delivery retention periods.
Contact
During the private beta, use My circle → Help & reports in Circles to contact the team and read replies. If you cannot access the app, contact the person who invited you for beta assistance.
